Cuplock System Usage Guide

What Is Cuplock Scaffolding?

Cuplock scaffolding is a robust and durable scaffolding system primarily used to provide a safe working platform for construction workers, capable of safely and stably supporting the weight of workers and materials. The core of cuplock scaffolding lies in its unique node locking device. A fixed bottom cup and a movable top cup are welded to the cuplock standard at 500mm intervals. The ledger ends are inserted into the cups and the top cup is locked in place for assembly. Each cuplock can simultaneously and securely fix four cuplock ledger, enabling connections in four directions. It boasts advantages such as simple structure and quick assembly, making it suitable for various projects and structures.

Cuplock Scaffolding Components

A complete cuplock scaffolding system typically consists of cuplock standards, cuplock ledger, diagonal braces, beams, scaffolding plankbase jack, handrails, ladders, and scaffolding gates.

Cuplock Standard

Also called cuplock verticals, these are the vertical components of the scaffolding system, used to transfer the weight of the entire structure to the ground. The cup-lock uprights are typically made of scaffolding steel pipes with a thickness of 3.2 mm or 4.0 mm, with cup-lock joints welded at 500 mm intervals to connect the horizontal bars. The surface is treated with hot-dip galvanizing, which can effectively prevent corrosion and rust.

Cuplock Ledger

Also called cuplock horizontals are horizontal components of the scaffolding system, usually used in conjunction with cuplock uprights to form the framework. Horizontal bars are typically supported by 48.3mm steel pipes with welded connecting plates at both ends. The component is completed by inserting the connecting plates into the cuplock joints on the uprights and locking them in place.

Diagonal Braces

Used to reinforce the scaffolding structure diagonally, preventing twisting and deformation. There are two types of diagonal braces: connecting plate type and coupler type. Connecting plate type steel pipes have rotating connecting plates at both ends that can be inserted between the upper and lower cuplocks. Coupler type steel pipes typically have couplers connected to both ends to secure the diagonal brace.

Scaffolding Plank

Provide a robust and reliable platform solution for the Cuplock scaffolding system. The hook-type design simplifies installation and adjustment. The scaffolding plank are made of high-strength galvanized steel with a non-slip textured surface, providing workers with a reliable foothold and reducing the risk of slipping and falling during operations.

Base Jack

An important component of the scaffolding system, it provides a stable and adjustable foundation for the scaffolding structure, keeping the scaffolding level on uneven ground.

Cuplock System Applications

Cuplock scaffolding systems can meet various construction needs, including:
Residential and commercial buildings.
Maintenance projects.
Formwork and concrete slab support.
Activated stage construction and temporary structures.

The modular design and high load-bearing capacity of cuplock scaffolding can meet diverse construction needs, making it a very popular scaffolding system.

Where Can I Buy A High Quality Cuplock System?

Currently, there are many cuplock scaffolding manufacturers on the market. A good scaffolding manufacturer, in addition to meeting ISO standards, needs to employ professional and reliable engineers and production workers to provide high-quality cuplock scaffolding systems.

EK Scaffolding Offers The Following Specifications For Cuplock Scaffolding:
